Tagged ya!

Yes in deedie! It was a hazy day during the Northbeach SF Photo Tour a few weeks ago - and the walk took us many steps up
to Coit Tower. Then it took us down the hill into the beatnik part of North Beach. We ended up at the corner of Columbus and Broadway where
we did some 'photo-playing around' with the Jazz wall Mural.  So far
many of the students have submitted interesting photos and interpretations.
I am also looking forward to the next SF Photo Tour which is coming up this Wednesday, May 6th, from 6-8pm.  It will be a tour specializing in improving your Night Photography.  We will wonder around the Down Town Market area, especially Union Square, the Trolly Car turn around and
around the Sony Metreon.  On the tour, we will help students take
advantage of the camera's night-time capture settings and give them
pointers to hone their own visual sense.
Another tour will be taking place in the Golden Gate Park & Japanese
Tea Garden on either Saturday, May 9th or May 23rd. This tour will be
from 9-11am.  The tour will focus on the natural environments of the
award winning park.  Photographically we will be helping our students
with using their camera's Macro settings to achieve attractive
Close-up Depth of Field shots.
There will also be some information given on the history of the
Japanese Tea Garden; and who knows, may even one of the instructors
will bring out his Green Tea Action Dispenser Set for some of the
artisans who run the Traditional Japanese Tea Shop.
Hope to see you all there and keep on snapping that shutter!

Cheers,

Paul Mansfield
